Endless
UNITY 2, 2020Mixed media on collaged paper29.5 x 42 cm (unframed)
11.61 x 16.54 in (unframed)Copyright The ArtistInstalled on the now desolate streets of Hackney Wick, Endless’ latest artwork, titled ‘Unity,’ has been created in reaction to the Covid 19 epidemic. Using visual cues such as loo roll, Corona beer branding, and the face mask against the NHS headlines, Endless aims to depict the conflict of mainstream consumer sentiment against the reality of the public health crisis itself. Talking of the situation, Endless said: “Art has been used for millennia to capture context of significant moments in time. It is the artists responsibly to capture the present, so that it can be shared with the future. This piece is an original copy from Endless’ sketchbook, where he experiments with ideas before taking them to the streets, or to canvas. He created this piece using digital design, collaged materials and acrylic and spray paint on collaged paper.Publications
