This work reconfigures the iconic 1990s Calvin Klein advertising image featuring Mark Wahlberg (Marky Mark), transforming it into a fractured study of masculinity and image making. The familiar pose defined by the provocative waistband reveal, is disrupted through sharp, layered interventions that break the body into shifting planes. Constructed from photography, screen prints, sketches, and fragments of the artist’s own body, the figure becomes both subject and critique. Endless deconstructs the hyper idealised male form, exposing the artificiality behind notions of strength, sexuality, and perfection shaped by advertising. Set against a bold, high impact backdrop, the composition retains the immediacy of billboard culture, echoing the visual energy of London, while its layered resin gloss finish mirrors the seductive sheen of commercial imagery. The result is a raw yet polished confrontation with the myths of beauty and masculinity in modern media.
