Born on the streets of Soho and Shoreditch in London, this piece has travelled seamlessly from the streets to canvas. Endless describes our Queen as ‘the ultimate fashion icon’ and often depicts her with a designer shawl draped over her shoulders. As our longest reigning monarch, Endless celebrates her Majesty’s reign with a modern twist, by adorning her with iconic high-end branding - serving the ultimate representation of luxury, power, wealth and branding. The fragile tape effect across the painting is sprayed on with an intricate hand-cut stencil and comments on the potential fragility of the consumers mind, when constantly drawn towards luxury, to reinstate their self-value. The fragile reference also comments on the royal family’s tumultuous relationship with the UK press and media. This unique piece was created using a combination of free hand painting with acrylics, hand-cut stencils with spray paint, digital design and sealed with a resin finish.
