This artwork consists of Endless’ iconic Chapel perfume bottle, inspired by alluring Chanel No.5 fragrance – a recognisable luxury item across the world. Endless’ ‘brand worship’ ethos comments on the way modern society is shackled by the lure of luxury and designer goods and worships’ these objects as though they were religious artefacts. The graphics within the bottle depict a contrasting fusion of traditional religious iconography and modern-day fashion icons such as Karl Lagerfeld and Kate Moss. The spray-painted lettering in the background ties in with the artists’ street art origins. Endless has used a mixture of digital design, hand-cut stencils with spray paint, acrylics and bronze leaf to create this piece.
