This work expands on Endless’s reimagining of the iconic Chanel No. 5 bottle as “Chapel,” reinforcing his critique of society’s devotion to brands and consumer ritual. The composition retains a billboard like presence, where luxury is elevated to a form of modern worship. Central to this piece is the inclusion of the artist’s own hands, actively holding the “Chapel” bottle. This gesture brings the act of consumption into sharp focus no longer passive, but participatory, placing both artist and viewer within the ritual of desire and acquisition. Within the bottle, deity like figures, echoing fashion icons such as Karl Lagerfeld, Naomi Campbell, and Kate Moss reinforce the idea of branding as belief system. Set against layered raw textures, the resin gloss finish enhances its polished allure, seducing the viewer while subtly exposing the mechanics of modern consumer culture.
