With elements of the Great British pound coin first issued in 2023 when King Charles was sworn in, these canvases celebrate the culture of a country and examines how we view ourselves within this culture and within the monetary world. What something is worth is a human philosophy that has been with us throughout time, in these works the hand painted and digital aspects with the glossy resin finish and fractured multi layering describe many aspects of “worth” in day to day life as well as in the art world.
