LA VIA D’ORO (THE GOLDEN ROAD)

PAVULLO CONTEMPORARY ART GALLERY

MICHELANGELO GALLIANI EXHIBITION

Curated by Paolo Donini

It will open to the public, on Saturday 11th May 2019, at 5.30 pm., "La Via D'Oro" (The Golden Road), Michelangelo Gallaini 's solo exhibition, at the Contemporary Art Gallery of Palazzo Ducale nel Frignano, of Pavullo, curated by the Director Paolo Donini, in collaboration with Cris Contini Contemporary Gallery of London.

The show will exhibit Michelangelo Galliani's works, established sculptor on the Italian and international scene and professor of Tecnhiques of Marble and Stones at the Urbino Academy of Fine Art.

The artworks presented at this exhibition fully reflect his original style, constantly aimed to mix the academic sculpture technique of white Carrara marble with other materials, such as gold and lead, which allow the artist to experiment with expressive forms that dialogue with a modern emotional perceptivity.

In his introspective research, Michelangelo Galliani proposes a balance between anthropomorphic figures, typical of the classical sculpture with a "Non Finito" poetic with just outlined or mutilated parts.

In the occasion of the Michelangelo Galliani's exhibition at the Sotterranei Gallery of Palazzo Ducale, there will be a concert dedicated to the theme of Love "NOTE D'AMORE" (Notes of Love), G. Puccini's music, F. Tosti, G. Luporini - Caterina Manicardi as soprano, Manfredo Meneghetti as tenor, Angelo Zardo at the piano; all curated by the Bononcini Musical Club of Pavullo.

The exhibition will be open until the 30th June 2019, free entry.
