Come, come, whoever you are., 2025Glass, Venetian enamels, iron sheet, cement adhesive132 x 132 cm.
51.97 x 51.97 in.Copyright The ArtistThe title of the artwork is taken from a beautiful poem by Jelaluddin Rumi: “Come, come, whoever you are. Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving. It doesn't matter. Ours is not a caravan of despair. Come, even if you have broken your vows a thousand times. Come, yet again, come, come.” Despite past mistakes or shortcomings, the poem emphasises the transformative power of love and acceptance, encouraging everyone to seek refuge in this inclusive embrace. Ironically, Sari places a controversial character and villain like the Joker at the other end of this embrace.Exhibitions
