The artist combines a Rolling Stones song with Caravaggio's "Sick Bacchus", painted by the latter using a mirror; whose mirror image features a dollar crown in place of the original grape crown.
Jackowski invites us to reflect on the role of money in today's society, where consumerism and unbridled ambition rule our lives; if man submits to these imposed rules, trampling on his own values and ideals, following the majority who see their personal fulfillment in material goods. The artist wonders if there is an inner balance between having and being, if man is able to stop and be satisfied with what he has achieved up to a certain point. Or if he is like Bacchus, drunk with luxury and sick with excesses, with a crown of banknotes whose rustling drowns the deepest ideals.
